Vam Cong Bridge's project is invested and built with preferential loans from the Korean Government (EDCF) and the Vietnamese Government's reciprocal capital, developed and managed by CIPM. GS E&C Vietnam took responsibility for construction.
The project was built with four car lanes and two rudimentary lanes, with a length of 2,97 km, a road of 5,88km located in Thot Not District, Can Tho Province to Lap Vo District, Dong Thap Province.
After the inauguration, the Vam Cong Bridge connects the Hau river banks between the two provinces of Can Tho and Dong Thap, helping to complete the Mekong Delta River's transport network, creating conditions and driving force socio-economic development in the area.
