The project Tan Son Nhat airport – Binh Loi bridge – Outer Beltway invested and constructed by GS E&C Vietnam. The road link from Hong Ha – Bach Dang Road to Pham Van Dong Boulevard was 13,657 km long; over USD 314 million invested capital.  

The project had opened construction in 2008 and officially opened for public use in August 2016, helping develop the city economy, reducing traffic congestion for the East-North of the city, and bringing an urban aesthetic for HCM city.

It is one of HCM city main major transport project, helping connects transportation all area from Tan Son Nhat Airport – AH12 – AH 1 – AH 1K through to Tan Binh, Go Vap, Binh Thanh, Thu Duc District, and links convenience with Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc Provinces to go to the airport opportunely and to save time.
