From June 30 to July 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's official visit to Korea created many opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. The Prime Minister met with leaders of many leading Korean corporations and discussed multi-faceted cooperation plans in Vietnam. According to the Prime Minister, in the current international context, any investment, production and business activities will have difficulties and challenges. It is important that both sides listen, share and find solutions to resolve and continue to promote existing cooperation achievements. This visit marks a new step in economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.
On July 3 at Lotte Hotel in Sogong, Seoul, Mr. Heo Yun-hong - CEO of GS Engineering & Construction, Advisor Heo Myung-soo, Executive Vice President Chae Heon-geun (CFO) and Vice President Executive Chairman Huh Jin-hong (Head of Investment & Development Group) had the opportunity to meet with the Prime Minister and discuss multi-faceted cooperation plans in Vietnam. The discussion took place; CEO Heo Yun-hong, met and discussed with the Prime Minister about cooperation and mutual support plans for GS E&C projects in Vietnam.
During the discussion, Professor E&C asked the Vietnamese Government to help and support projects currently being promoted in Vietnam. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed the Government's interest in GS E&C's projects in Vietnam and requested GS E&C to continue investing in Vietnam. Hopefully, the cooperation between GS E&C and the Vietnamese Government will bring many benefits to both sides and contribute to promoting the country's sustainable development.
In the Vietnamese market, GS E&C is investing and actively developing many projects, including Nha Be New Urban Area, Long Binh New Urban Area and Thu Thiem Apartment Complex in Vietnam. Among them, Nha Be New Urban Area in Ho Chi Minh City is planned to be developed into a smart city, with the centre being a high-tech IT park.
