On October 11, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City - The Committee to mobilize, receive and distribute the Ho Chi Minh City Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund received nearly VND 6 billion in funding and medical equipment to support the public Covid-19 pandemic prevention. Attending the meeting were members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Ms. To Thi Bich Chau - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Kang Myongil- Korean Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Presentative for the Korean Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Mr. Kang Myongil gave an amount of VND 57.5 million to support the City's Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund.

In addition, businesses belonging to the Korean Business Association donated cash and medical equipment to Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam GS Industry Company (VGSI) has supported the epidemic prevention fund of medical equipment worth 4 billion VND.
Ho Chi Minh City is gradually opening up to economic recovery according to the guidelines and policies of the State and HCMC. VGSI and local and foreign businesses are committed to complying with the principles of epidemic prevention at the working places and project sites. Besides, VGSI will push the development strategy in the Vietnam market to create income and sustainable values in VGSI's projects in the future.
